When you make a booking from our website or our app, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address, mobile number and other relevant details.When you browse our website and app, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn and provide better services. Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our website and app features/services, new products and other updates.We may also send you promotional SMS regarding our offers and services

How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction or a booking, verify your mobile number, book any service, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. How do I withdraw my consent? If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at care@carpiko.com

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


SECTION 4 - PAYMENT

We use third party payment gateway for processing payments. We/Carpiko do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. Cancellation

You can modify or cancel your booking anytime by informing us on our contact number or emailing at care@carpiko.com. You can mail us your modifications or call us. There are no extra charges for modifications or cancellations. However, in case you have agreed to your booking and service is being provided to your car and you choose to cancel while the service is still in progress, you have to pay Carpiko or it’s partnered workshop the amount for the total service provided until that time.


Refunds

We have 7 days refund policy in case you were unsatisfied with our service or the service provided to you was not upto quality standards. Once your booking is completed and payment is made, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your payment. We will refund your payment in following cases- After proper inspection by our mechanics, it is found that that service provided by us was not upto to quality standards. Your car started having issues due to the service provided by our partnered workshops. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Depending on the issue with the service we may limit the total amount of refund. NOTE: No refund request will be entertained after the 7 days of the service or repair done.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at care@carpiko.com
